AUSTRAILIA - Bikie boss denied bail on weapons charges

Bikie boss Jamie George Zammit was denied bail over weapons charges at Parramatta Bail Court today.
Mr Zammit, 30, the Sydney head of the Nomads motorcycle gxxg, was stopped by officers driving along Luxford Road, Oakhurst, about 8.10pm.
The resident of Mount Vernon, in Sydney's west, was charged with being in possession of a loaded firearm for which he did not have a licence and several other charges.
Court documents said the gun was a nine millimetre Sig Sauer P226 pistol.
He did not apply for bail and magistrate Michael Price formally refused it.
Mr Zammit is due to appear at Mount Druitt Local Court on Thursday.
